Shropshire had mixed fortunes in their 2015-2016 campaign in division four of the BDO Inter County Championships whereby in the opening five games they recorded just one win a 23-13 success away to West of England. Nevertheless their season completely turned around in the second half when they won three of the remaining four fixtures, if they can carry the latter season’s form into their new campaign they could well be challenging for promotion this season, however they do have a tough opener as they play away to Norfolk who are newly relegated from division three, a result from this game would most certainly put them on the right track and in the right frame of mind for what could be a very successful season.
