Warwickshire County Darts Organisation will be back in action in division one of the Kaliber BDO Inter Counties Championships this coming weekend. Canley Sports and Social Club, Coventry will be the setting for the first home fixture of the season, with Dorset providing the opposition.
Warwickshire will be eager to continue the form they showed in their curtain raiser away to Hertfordshire where they chalked up a great 23-16 victory. Week two in the Sheldon and District Winter League and even at this early stage in the season only three of the eleven premier division teams remain unbeaten. A 5-4 win at Mackadown Social as seen Shirley RBL take over pole position with Brook Meadow, who won at Sheldon Dukes, also by 5-4 just one leg of average behind them. Olton RBL, after a bye last week opened their account with a 5-4 win at home to Saltley Amateur Gardeners, their second consecutive defeat, and Olton are the other undefeated team.
Four teams are locked together on four points in division one, Scanlons are in pole position after an 8-1 home win over Yardley Ex Flights. In second spot is Sheldon Social who also had an 8-1 win away to Small Heath Gardeners Flights, then comes Shard End Social, who beat Shard End RBL Vikings 5-4 and by the same margin Kingshurst Labour Club won at Yardley Ex Colts to hold down the fourth place. Five legs of average are the difference between the top four teams.
Custard House have moved up into second place in division two after handing out a 9-0 whitewash to Barley Mow, with one leg of average more than Custard House is Willclare Sports and Social in the number one spot, they beat Millhouse 6-3.

On the fixture card for the Pip Club League was their divisional singles knockouts and combined division one and two doubles competition.
In the singles the division one event was won by Globe Inn representative Phil Turner, who beat Bob Mills from the Glascote Club in the final. Losing semi finalists were, J.Whitbread (Sports Bar Club and Bill Burdett (Bulls Head).
Adam Duffy (Winning Post) won the division two title, with Sam Whittaker from the Three Horse Shoes the losing finalist. Going out in the last four were William Martin (Winning Post) and Steve Birch (North Warwick Cricket Club).
Winners of the doubles competition were Mark Martin (Dolphin) and William Martin from the Winning Post. Losing finalists were Alan Carter and Adam Duffy (Winning Post). Losing semi finalists were, John Aidney and Martin Cairns (Belgrave Club) and Darren Hunt and Dan Lands (Wigginton).
