With only one more fixture to play in the Sutton and District Summer League, Highcroft Hotdogs have been knocked off their top of their table perch following a surprising 5-4 defeat playing away against Walmley CSC Flights who are seventh in the division. Bishop Vesey have taken over the number one spot, their 7-2 home win over Red Lion taking them two points ahead of the Hotdogs, but to win the title Vesey have to win their final fixture as their rivals, although two points behind them, have a far superior average.

In division two current leaders Scott Armers completed their fixture card with a 6-3 home win over their nearest rivals Charley’s Flights. However, Charley ‘s Flights still have one game to play, a home game against Rosey Mac’s Bar who are just two places off the foot of the table. All that Charley’s Flights require to win the title is a win as that would take their points tally to twenty-six, two more than Scott Armers.
