Salopian v Middlesex
This coming weekend the Bagley Sports and Social Club, Ellesmere Road, Shrewbury, SY1 2RP will be the venue for the final game of the season for Salopian in Division Three of the UKDA National League and what a climax it will be as the home team prior to the fixture are second in the promotional table with 180 points, their opponents third with 179 points and the current leaders Northumberland, who have already completed their programme, are on 181 points.
A win for Salopian would see them book their place in division two next see going up as champions but a defeat would give their visitors the title and Salopian would finish as runners-up with Northumberland dropping down to third.
What an atmosphere there will be at the Shrewsbury club this weekend, a game that will be full of tension down to the very last dart thrown. Hopefully with home advantage that will prove to be the deciding factor.
