Allens Bar ‘C’ continued their fine start to the new Black Country Men’s Super League with a 3-2 home win over High Acres ‘B’, making it five wins in as many games to keep them in pole position with 30 points from their five games while their opponents dropped from fourth to sixth in the table.

Yeltz Bar ‘A’ lost their number two spot and dropped to third after they lost by a convincing 4-1 scoreline to Railway Tavern who replace their hosts in second place in the table four points short of leaders Allens ‘C’.

The Three Diamonds team have moved home venues and will now play out of the Rowley Bar and Grill, however the change of venue has not changed their luck as for the fifth time of asking they lost and in their first game at the Rowley Bar went down 4-1 to Allens Bar ‘A’, the win taking the away side up two places in the table to fourth with a total of 24 points, just two behind second in the league Railway Tavern.

At the other end of the table Allens Bar ‘B’, who are two places off the foot of the table, played hosts to Yeltz Bar ‘B’, both teams without a win from their opening four games. The result was a 3-2 win for Yeltz Bar ‘B’ to put them on 12 points, four to the good on their hosts.
