Week twelve of the Winmau Centre Thursday Night Champions League saw Louis Burley gain a vital 6-1 win over title rival Kevin Harris and follow that with a 5-2 success against Craig Capewell to put him on 122 points from 22 games. Reigning champion Mick Baker stayed hot on the heels of Burley in second place with 7-0 and 6-1 wins in turn against Paul Walters and Paul Boddison to leave him ten points short of Burley’s total with a game in hand. Long time leader Kevin Harris is now placed third and although he recovered from his big defeat to Burley and win 5-2 against Les Marson he is trailing by 20 points and the two games he has in hand could only net him a total of 14 points.
