The Winmau Thursday Night Champions League has a new leader, taking over in pole position is Robert Pierce whose latest games saw him go down 4-3 to newcomer Paul Boddison but then go on to win 7-0 against Rhys Langford to give him 43 points from nine games. Les Marson is just two points behind Pierce following his 6-1 win over Liam Baker and 4-3 success against Chris Manoila, Marson has also played one game less than Pierce. Previous leader Kevin Harris is third he is three points off the top nut has two games in hand so has reigning champion Mick Baker in fourth place who is a further one point adrift.
