After suffering their first defeat in the Amber Windows League, a 5-4 reversal against Heartlands, Bagot Arms bounced back in style this week to chalk up a massive 8-1 win over the Mitre, M.Kane hitting a 180 in the process. There was a shock for Bedworth Bank’s, leaders of the Warwickshire Men’s Super League as they went down 5-3 at Coventry Howitzers. Second in the table Birmingham Vauxhall were only able to draw 4-4 in their home tie with Coventry Bishopsgate. However, Vauxhall are now only seven behind Bedworth with a game in hand which could see them go clear at the top. Still in contention for title honours are third placed Birmingham Midland Red, their 6-2 win against Rugby leaves them eleven points adrift of the leaders but with two games in hand. It should be quite a run in.
