There was some extremely sad news this week, that of the death of former Warwickshire player Trevor Peachey. Trevor a true gentleman and a fine darts player died just six days before his ninetieth birthday. He was a winner of the News of the World in the 1955 – 1956 season and my first meeting with him was in the final of the Warwickshire Open, I will never forget what a quiet unassuming man he was.
Thoughts and condolences go to Trevor’s family. Rest in Peace Trevor you will be sorely missed.
Trevor Peachey
