Pat Koyce, current leader of the Bass Breweries sponsored Minworth Social Individual League suffered a setback to his title hopes when he finished on the wrong side of a 3-0 scoreline in his game with Ian Humphries. However, Koyce did bounce back with a 2-1 success against Paul Spiers to give him a total points of 96. Humphries holds on to sixth place with 78points.

Reigning champion Dave Shorthouse is again mounting his challenge. In second spot on 94 points Shorthouse chalked up two very useful straight 3-0 wins over Richie Shenton and Dean Grainger. This coupled with the fact that he has a game in hand on Koyce leaves Shorthouse in a very good position.

Hitting 180’s this week are Trevor Frost (2), Dave Shorthouse, Jason Gilbert, Dean Grainger and Steve Davis.
