In division one of the Harborne 401 Summer League a 160 break and a ten darts leg from P.Evans helped Red Lion to a 9-0 whitewash against the Brook.Bartley Green Social Club were not far behind as they beat Ladywood 8-1. Three maximums were hit in the match, two for Bartley from P.Hughes and S.Riddick and one for Ladywood’s M.Littleford.

Another two 180’s were recorded by division two champions Greenlands. On the mark were W.Wallace and B.Andrews as their team won 8-1 against Stonehouse to maintain their 100% record. T.Haymes had a 160 break for the losers. Another maximum man was Village Stump’s T.Rickerby in his side’s 6-3 win at the Green Man. C.Fuller had a 160 break for the hosts.

In the third division Punchbowl’s D.Bourne hit a 180 and team mate S.Scandrett had a 160 break. However, in a nail biting game the team narrowly lost 5-4 to Bugle Horn, who as a result of their win have won the division title.
