The Harborne 401 Summer League have played off their doubles knockout and what a fantastic night of darts it turned out to be, especially the final stages. In the quarter finals the P.Brotherton and T.McGlone combination proved to be a real force, the former hitting a maximum and the latter a 160 break giving K and M.Heskins no chance whatsoever as they went out of the competition 2-0. That was the result of all four of the quarter final games, K.Redding / B.Davenport, M.James / E.Price and T.Cahill / T.Walton all progressing to the last four.

The first semi saw Cahill and Walton lose 2-0 to James and Price. The second game was a high scoring affairwith Brotherton and McGlone just getting the 2-1 edge on Redding and Davenport. The final was a three legs cracker. Brotherton (2×140,2×100) and McGlone (100) again winning by the odd leg against James (146b,106,133) and Price (139,100) to claim the title.
