The Bell, leaders of division one in the Harborne 401 Summer League were in fine form in their latest fixture away to Stonehouse Stars. A 160 break by J.McEvoy and a 151 checkout from M.James helped them on their way to a 7-2 victory. S.Riddick (Bartley Green Social Club) went one better with a 156 game shot as his team won 6-3 at Ladywod Social. Best win of the division went to Hillyfields who won 8-1 at the Plough.

8-1 was also the scoreline by which Greenlands maintained their unbeaten run in division two at the expense of Stonehouse. D.Windsor recorded a 160 break, but his team, Green Man lost 6-3 at the Village Stump.

In division three Bear and Staff proved too strong for Stonehouse ladies running out 8-1 winners, while Full Moon won 7-2 at home to Harborne Stores.

That was the same margin by which Gables beat Heathway in group three, Gables man I.McLean chalking up a 12 darts leg.
