Prior to the Warwickshire versus Yorkshire BDO Inter County fixture at the Bishopsgate Club, Coventry there was a fund raising head shave by Kaya Holdsworth who was doing it because her mother Warwickshire county player Edwina was diagnosed with liver and bowel cancer in January and some of her family members had also been affected by cancer.
Shaving Kaya’s head were her sister Mia and county player Lisa Whitmore the event so far having raised a tremendous amount in excess of £550 and Kaya says there is still more donations to come in.
It’s still not too late to donate to this very courageous young lady’s worthy cause, to do so please follow the link https://bravetheshave.org.uk/shavers/kaya-abbott/
