In the latest round of fixtures in the BDO Inter County Championships Warwickshire did their hopes of premier division survival a power of good when they won their home game against Glamorgan 19-17. The win has lifted them two places up the table and given them a thirteen point’s advantage over next to bottom Kent.
Both of the men’s encounters finished all square at 6-6 with Jamie Atkins (27.00) taking the ‘A’ teams award and Mark Archer (28.36) the ‘B’s.
Trina Gulliver was in top form for the ladies ‘A’ recording the best average of the weekend, a tremendous 28.78 in her teams 3-3 draw. To make up the win the ‘B’ side won 4-2 with Kat Spanswick (17.15) their top player.
