West Midlands played away, a tough encounter against promotion contender Gwent. Nevertheless the Midlanders recorded a very respectable 18-18 draw. All four games ended in a draw, the match awards going to, for the ‘A’ teams Ian Jones (29.91) and Leanne Jennings (20.88) and for the ‘B’ Matt Tedstone 27.42) and Sarah Robbins (18.98).
