In their recent Kaliber BDO Inter Counties Championship game in division three, West Midlands played a home tie against Bedfordshire and produced a cracking 22-17 win to put them second in the table with one fixture to play. Both men’s teams finished all square at 6-6 with Mark Jones (31.31) and Mark Lloyd (30.67) taking the respective ’A’ and ’B’ match awards. There were mixed results for the ladies as the ’A’ went down 4-2 and the ’B’ came up with their first win of the season a resounding 5-1 victory. The top players for the ’A’ and ’B’ were Kath Jenkins (18.33) and Kim Fellows (18.06).
