West Midlands played at home in their BDO Inter County Championships division three game against Cleveland, but again it was not a good result. Angie Perry (21.55) and Teresa Johnson (16.70) were the sole winners for the ‘A’ and ‘B’ respectively. The men’s ‘B’ suffered a massive 10-2 defeat, Frank Johnson (25.83) their top man, while the ‘A’ team provided the only shining light of the weekend as they won 8-4. Ian Jones with his 32.31 average took the Sunday match award.
