There was tremendous news for the West Midlands in their local derby with Worcestershire in division three of the BDO Inter County Championships, playing away they romped to their first win of the campaign, a 20-16 result. Jamie Parsons (25.52) helped the men’s ‘B’ to their 8-4 success, while Angie Perry ( 22.84) was the ladies ‘A’ top player. Ian Hartland (31.24) was in good form as the ‘A’ side shared the points in a 6-6 draw with thier counterparts. Only downside was that the ladies ‘B’ lost 4-2, Teresa Johnson (17.64) taking the match award.
