It was not good news in Division Two of the BDO Inter County Championships as the West Midlands lost 22-14 at Co Durham, their fifth defeat in six outings, both ladies teams lost, the ‘A’ 4-2 and the ‘B’ 5-1, with Gill Cook (20.04) the ‘A’ teams match award winner for the second successive game and Ann Jones (15.30) accomplishing a similar feat for the ‘B’.
The men’s results were not much better as the ‘B’ side finished all square at six each and the ‘A’ went down 7-5. Ian Jones (33.40), as in the previous game was the ‘A’ teams top man and another Ian, this time Hartland (28.34) was the ‘B’ side’s award winner.
