Congratulations to Olton Crown, who with one remaining fixture in the Forest of Arden Summer League have won the division one title. A close 4-3 win away to their nearest rivals Highwood ‘A’ gave Olton a total of 18 points and left Highwood trailing by four points.
Although Centurion had their division three fixture with Greville Arms postponed, they clinched the divisional title due to second placed New Inns surprisingly losing 4-3 at home to Highwood Exiles, who as a result of the win move one place up the table to third. New Inns, with one more game to play are now on 12 points, four adrift of Centurion, who have two remaining fixtures.
The division two title is still not decided, Iron Horse are top on 14 points, with Peachy Keens second on 12. The final game sees Iron Horse with a tough away game against third placed Highwood ‘C’, while Peachy Keens appear to have the easier game at home to bottom of the table Chelmsley Town. However a defeat for Iron Horse may not be too disastrous as they have a four legs average lead on their rivals and with only one game to play that would be a lot for Peachy Keens to fetch back because if they won 7-0 Iron Horse would have to lose 5-2 to lose the title.
