To end the seasons league fixtures the top two teams in division one of the Four Oaks and District League chalked up big wins. Prior to the closing games The Nomads were top and completed their programme with a 7-2 win at home to The Greyhound, while second placed Sutton Sports went one better with an 8-1 success away to Drakes Drum. The outcome of the scorelines produced the closest finish for the title in many years with Sutton Sports and The Nomads finishing level on 24 points and also dead level on average. The title was then decided on the averages of the individual legs, which meant that Sutton Sports were champions and retained their title for an amazing eighth consecutive year.
