Warwickshire play their seventh of a scheduled nine fixtures in the premier division of the BDO Inter County Championships this coming weekend, a home tie with Glamorgan at the Bishopsgate Club, Foleshill Road, Coventry. With the hosts in the bottom three of the table and Glamorgan just four points ahead of them a win would be a massive move towards maintaining their premier division status.

In division one West Midlands travel to the capital to take on London in a similar situation to neighbours Warwickshire as they too are in the bottom three of the table and London are the next team above them just five points separating the two teams.

To stay in the division one title race in the Four Oaks and District League, Sutton Sports won a massive away game against Plough and Arrows 5-4 to take them into pole position with 22 points from 13 games. Deer’s Leap kept the pressure on the leaders handing out a 9-0 whitewash away to Anvil Nomads giving them 20 points from 12 games the same as Plough and Arrows but with a superior average. At the other end of the table Fox Inn moved off the bottom with a convincing 8-1 home win over Pint Pot Flights, who take over the bottom position.
With Pint Pot Nomads having a bye in the second division Red Lion Flights have replaced them in the number one spot after a 5-4 win at Brookvale. Third placed White Lion suffered a surprising 5-4 defeat away to fifth placed Old Oscott WMC.
Division three produced a top of the table clash between leaders Drakes Drum and their nearest rivals Erdington Arrows. Arrows, the hosts went down 6-3 to leave them a huge eight points behind Drakes Drum with a game in hand. Third in the table Deer’s Leap Stags lost ground as they lost 6-3 at home to Pint Pot Arrows who are fourth in the table.

There were mixed fortunes for the two top players in the E.B.A.H.A. Double Top League as Dave Carter lost for the first time in 13 games, going down convincingly to Matt Cooper 3-0, Cooper hitting 5×100, 3×140 and registering a13 darts leg. Nevertheless Carter stays on top, but is now joined by Neil Parsonage who beat Brian Cooper 3-0, with scores of 180,3×100 and 140. Both players are on 40 points with Parsonage having a game in hand.
The league also got their singles underway which saw wins for Matt Cooper, Brian Cooper and Martin Cooper.

In week 15 of the Sheldon and District Winter League Olton RBL lost their second game in fourteen in the premier division when playing at Old Bill and Bull, finishing on the wrong side of a 5-4 result. However, Olton hold on to the number one place with 24 points, two more than Crown who won 6-3 at Sheldon Dukes.
Division one provided the biggest shock of the week as bottom of the table Yardley Arms played hosts to top of the table Pavilions and beat them 5-4. The title is now wide open as Pavilions have been joined on 16 points by EBAHA, and New Firs Flights, who are placed third just two points adrift with a game in hand.

The top four teams in division one of the Camp Hill League all won in the latest round of fixtures, leaders Sportsman won 6-1 at Devils Club, second placed Forgers had a 7-0 home win over Waggoners, Custard House won 5-2 at Scruffy’s Mob and fourth in the table Lady Westminster beat Roosters 7-0.

Red Lion’s 12-4 win over Bulls Head (Polesworth) has seen them change places in the table, Red Lion going top and Bulls Head dropping to second in division one of the Pip Club League, this being Bull’s first defeat of the five game season so far. Birchmoor Club moved off the bottom of the table with a 9-7 win away to J.W.Belgrave Club, who have replaced them at the foot of the table.
In division two Royal Oak moved off the bottom of the table in big style. Playing at home Royal Oak handed out the first defeat to Travellers, their 9-7 loss seeing them being replaced at the top of the table by Pip Club, who were held to an 8-8 draw at home by Sports Bar 180.

It remains neck and neck at the top of the Small Heath League, Mitre still having the edge on average over Scanlons after their 7-2 win over Custard House Flights, while their rivals won 6-3 against Wagon and Horses. The two teams, both on 18 points are four ahead of the rest of the field.
A reminder that the league will be staging a charity match against the Gulp Charity team on Saturday 10th March, the match will be staged at the Custard House. Play will get underway at 8.30pm.

Wilson Hall extended their winning run to six games in the Rowley League by beating Golden Cue 7-2. Ivy Bush ‘Z’ lost ground in the title race dropping down from second place to fifth after going down 5-4 at the Gate Hangs Well, Gate Hangs Well move up one place in the table to third.
There were convincing 8-1 wins for Springfield Social, Rowley Olympic and Timbertree, who in turn accounted for the Bell, Spring Meadow and Hunting Tree.

The Tamworth Sports Bar League have been involved in the first two rounds of their Three Tuns Trophy. Second round winners were, Sports Bar, Boot Inn, Sports Bar 180 and Three Horse Shoes.
In a rearranged league fixture three Horse Shoes beat Rugby Club 6-1.
