In the Small Heath League Emerald Club had a bye this week and as a result Custard House regained the number two spot with a convincing 6-2 win at the Wagon and Horses.
The already crowned champions, Mitre did not let up as they hand out a 7-1 thrashing away to bottom of the table Devils to maintain their 100% win record, making it eleven straight wins. Just one fixture remains to be played in the league and that is between Mitre and Emerald Club. The outcome will not affect Mitre but it will Emerald who, should they be able to inflict on their opponents their first and what would be their only defeat of the campaign, they would then finish as runners up. However, should they lose they will finish in third place.
In the other game played Redhill Tavern hosted Custard House Flights. The result went to the final game and saw Redhill just snatch a hard fought 5-3 victory

Riley’s Red Arrows completed their fixture card in division one of the Forest of Arden Summer League in great style as in their home tie with the Greville they handed out a 7-0 whitewash. Second placed Riley’s Flights have one more result to come in and are just two points behind Red Arrows, however their average is inferior to their local rivals and they will finish the season as runners up.
Third placed Old Bill and Bull consolidated their position with a final 6-1 win over Sheldon Flights.
In division two champions Sheldon Arrows finished on a high, a 5-2 home win against bottom of the table Riley’s Mixed, giving Arrows a total of 16 points four more than the nearest rivals Harvester who had a 4-3 win at home to Bill and Bull Flights. Harvester have one remaining game, but they can be overtaken by third in the table Chelmsley Town, who have only played eight games and should they win the final two and Harvester lose their last game they would take the runners up spot.
