The order of the day for the Four Oaks and District League was cup fixtures. First the Brian Goodman Cup in which N.Robbins produced some sensational darts in the semi finals. The Fox and Dogs man, in three legs of 301 recorded 160 and 103 breaks and had two tremendous scores of 180 to help his side to a 6-3 win over Aston Social. In the other semi final Sportsmans Rest, who in the previous round had taken out division one leaders Sutton Sports, beat Old Oscott Arrows by the same 5-4 scoreline.
Both last four games in the Ken Rust Cup were 5-4 verdicts with Golden Hind going 5-0 up against Red Lion Flights and Oscott Social Clarets getting the better of Pint Pot Arrows.

All Forest of Arden Winter League team secretaries should note that tonight they should attend at the league headquarters, Riley’s Club, Lode Lane, Solihull to collect the fixtures for the second half of the season.

In the Small Heath League the semi finals of their League Cup both finished with 7-2 results, Emerald Club beat Custard House and Hay Mills Social accounted for Custard House Flights.
In the Upside Down Cup three teams were involved in a 180 contest to determine who would play against the Wagon and Horse in the final. The outcome was a victory for the Mitre.

The quarter finals of the Punch Bowl were on the fixture card for the Sheldon and District Winter League. Going through to the semis were Crown, Bagot Arms, Kingshurst and District Labour Club and Olton RBL.
In round one of the Sheldon Shield Red Lion had the biggest win, 7-2 against Dovecote, while Forget-Me-Not, Highwood ‘A’ and Stechford Social progressed with 6-3 wins. The remaining teams Pavilions, Old Bill and Bull, Greville Arms and Castle Vale Residents Association all won 5-4.

Three Horse Shoes, leaders of the Tamworth Sports Bar league consolidated their number one spot in the table with an emphatic 7-0 home win over bottom team Market Vaults. Sports Bar 180, with a 160 break from Phil Jones, kept in touch with the leaders by beating Globe ‘B’ 7-2, but remain seven points adrift of the leaders.
In the Players League only one win separates the top three players. Mac Tarbuck (Riftswood) and Paul Whittaker (Three Horse Shoes) are level on 24 points with Grant Harris (Wigginton) currently lying in third place.

The Gulp League produced a table top clash this week with leaders Tigers playing hosts to second in the table Lions. The result was a clear cut 6-1 victory for the Tigers to give them a total of 22 points, eight more than the rest of the field.

In the Camp Hill League Lady Westminster handed out a 7-0 whitewash to Clements Arms to keep them top of the table on average from the Roost who beat Devils Club 5-2.

Just one second division game was played in the Pip Club League which saw home team Sports Bar 180 win 9-7 against Pip Club. Two maximums were hit in the game, one for each team, Spencer Hawksworth, for the Pip Club and Phil Jones for the Sports Bar 180.
