Warwickshire County Darts Organisation are back in action again this coming weekend when they travel to the Rudheath Social Club, Middlewich Road, Rudheath, Near Northwich, CW9 7DN to take on Cheshire in this their third premier division fixture of the season in the Riley’s BDO Inter Counties Championships.

In division one West Midlands will play hosts to Gwent and will be looking for a quick return to winning ways after losing out to Oxfordshire in their last outing. A close 5-4 home win over Old Bill and Bull gives Olton RBL twelve points and a four point’s lead over their rivals at the top of the premier division in the Sheldon and District Winter League. Kingshurst and District Labour Club, who also won 5-4 in their away game against Sheldon Dukes are second and have played one more game than Olton.

In division one Castle Vale Residents Association lost 5-4 at Holy Souls and as a consequence have dropped from second place to fourth, while Holy Souls move up into second place two points behind Highwood ‘A’, who were awarded a 9-0 walkover against Redhill Tavern.

Willclare Sports and Social have lost pole position in the second division losing 5-4 at home to Yardley Ex Colts, Forget-Me-Not have taken over the number one spot following their 7-2 win at Glebe Community Association. At the other end of the table Sheldon Social moved of the foot recording their first win of the campaign, a 5-4 success at Highwood ‘B’.

Maggies lost ground in the division three title race as they went down 6-3 at Langley Sports and Social. They are now two points adrift of leaders Ridgemere Social, who won their home game with White Hart 7-2. Maggies and Shirley RBL Flights both have ten points, two fewer than Ridgemere and have played one game more.

In division one of the Four Oaks and District League Sutton Sports handed out a 9-0 whitewash to Fox and Dogs but the scoreline was not a true reflection of the game. Sutton Town chalked up 23 scores of 100 or more including a maximum from R.Hawker, Fox and Dogs recorded 20 plus a maximum for C.Millward snr. There was another 9-0 result in the third division where Pint Pot Arrows accounted for their hosts The Gate.

In division two Pint Pot Flights beat former leaders Anvil Nomads 5-4 to go two points clear at the top of the table.

Further maximums were hit by J.Collins (Sportsmans Rest) and T.O’Kereke (Golden Hind).

A 9-0 win by Riley’s Flights over Kenny’s Boys has taken them to top spot in the Forest of Arden Winter League, but level on points with Riley’s Flights are, Highwood ‘A’, Riley’s Red Arrows and Greville Arrows, who are the only remaining unbeaten teams in the league after completing just two fixtures.

The preliminary round of the Aggregate Cup was the latest on the Gulp League’s fixture card and winning through to the next round were, Tigers, Tribe, Rebels and Cranes.

An 11-5 victory over North Warwick Cricket Club has seen Birchmoor Club draw level on points with Red Lion at the top of division one of the Pip Club League, after Red Lion were only able to earn an 8-8 draw at home to J W Belgrave Club.

Two Gates Club held on to the number one spot in division two with a 10-6 home win over The Bull, however, second placed Sports bar 180 are just four points behind the leaders with two games in hand.
