Forget-Me-Not suffered their second defeat of the season in division two of the Sheldon and District Winter League when they lost their home game against their nearest rivals Custard House 6-3. However, Forget-Me-Not hold on to pole position but Custard House are now level on points and trail by just two legs of average. Small Heath Gardeners Flights dropped from second place to third after a 5-4 home defeat at the hands of the Yardley and District Darts Team.

Saltley Amateur Gardeners continue to lead the premier division, consolidating their position after handing out a 9-0 whitewash to Stechford Social. Mackadown Social move up into second place following their 7-2 win against Crown ’B’.

In division one leaders Highwood dropped their first points of the campaign as they surprisingly lost 6-3 at fourth in the table Yardley Ex Flights.

Hillyfields ’B’, with a 160 break from D.Bourne continue to hold a four points advantage over the rest of the field in the Harborne 401 League after a very impressive 8-1 home victory over third in the table Thimbermill. Smethwick Labour Club remain second following their 9-0 success at Quinton Members Club. S.Bourne hit a maximum for Quinborne ’A’ in their 7-2 win at Old Crown.

After only three fixtures in the Forest of Arden Winter League Riley’s Red Arrows are the only unbeaten side in division one their latest win being a 6-3 away win over Old Bill and Bull who are second in the table.

In division two Sheldon Flights and Harvester are the only 100% winners and in turn they accounted for Highwood KB 8-1 and Ivy Leaf 7-2 this week.

White Lion Barrels, after leading 4-1 lost their first game in four in division three of the Four Oaks and District League this week, going down 5-4 at Safe Harbour.Reddicap Tavern won their first game of the season a convincing 8-1 home win over bottom of the table Bromford Social.

In division one Anvil Nomads broke their duck coming back from 3-1 down to beat White Lion 6-3, while the leaders of division two The Fox needed the last game against Old Oscott WMC to keep their undefeated run intact.

In the final of the Small Heath League’s Charity Knockout Competition John McCaffrey from Potcheen Still defeated Beaufort Social Club representative Jason Evans to lift the title. Losing semi finalists were Glyn Thomas (Custard House) and Mark O’Donnell (Beaufort Social Club).

A shock for Kettlebrook Club, leaders of division two in the Pip Club League as they suffered their first defeat of the season going down 9-7 at the Gate Inn. Second placed North Warwick Cricket Club won 9-7 against Old Liberal Club, but are still two points adrift of the leaders.

In division one top team Red Lion ’A’ chalked up an impressive 14-2 win at bottom of the table Winning Post and are one point clear of Glascote Club, who after beating Sports Bar 180 10-6 have taken over the number two spot.
