High spot of the week in the Carlsberg Olton Double Top League was the 3-0 win by Luke Coles over Ralph Nunn, the reason being that this was Luke’s first win of the season, his one and only in the 20 games he has played. Well done Luke.
At the other end of the table leader Tony Randell could only manage 2-1 wins against Mick Gorst and Mark Wall and gave second placed Bob Nixon the opportunity to reduce the arrears. Nixon took full advantage beating both Paul Nunn and Karl Attwood 3-0 to leave him just one point adrift of the number one spot.
