The Central Container Services sponsored Richard Winslow Pairs Knockout was on the fixture card for the Four Oaks and District League. The event was staged at two venues, Aston Social and the Red Lion. The first semi final at Aston Social was an all Sutton Sports affair with R.Hawker and M.Wild taking on M.Kane and D.Wallace, the result was a close 2-1 verdict in favour of the latter. In the second semi Anvil Nomads pair D.Walton, who hit a maximum and N.Harley were also 2-1 losers, going out to Plough and Harrow Arrows duo N.Hawkins and N.Robbins. The final saw N.Hawkins hit a 180 and his partner record a 160 break as they beat D.Wallace (180) and M.Kane 2-0.
At the Red Lion K.Shepherd and M.Harris (The Fox) had a 2-1 semi final win against J.Dunn and A.Stainfield (Sportsmans Rest). The other last four game was a 2-0 win for D.Bond and S.Andrews (Red Lion Flights) over Hill Social duo D.Vickers and T.Vickers. The final was another 2-0 winning margin, with K.Shepherd and M.Harris getting the better of D.Bond and S.Andrews. Maximums were hit by P.Allen (Anvil Nomads) and M.Sheppard( Cross Keys PPA).

The latest fixtures for the Pip Club League saw the top three teams in division two lose. Leaders Queens Head surprisingly went down 5-3 at home to fourth in the table Kettlebrook Club and in the process lost their 100% win record for the season. Second in the table Bull (Polesworth) suffered a 6-2 home defeat at the hands of second from bottom Gate Inn (Amington), while third placed Two Gates Club, again at home lost 5-3 to North Warwick Cricket Club.
No change at the top of the first division as there the top three teams all won, so Sports Bar Club hold on to pole position on average from Glascote Club and Globe Inn remain third.

Fourteen points separate Trevor Frost, leader of the Coffin Club Knockout League from second in the table Neil Parsonage. John Burdett, currently third in the league reduced the arrears on the leading pair when in the week 12 games he won the ’A’ knockout 3-0 against Jason Evans who is his nearest rival.
The ’B’ knockout was won by Mark Osbourne who beat Roy Parry 2-0.

At the halfway point in the season of the West Midlands Super League no surprise that the current leaders in the men’s section are Tipton. With 64 points from eight games they are five points ahead of second placed Cannock. Wednesbury are third and are just five points behind Cannock with a game in hand.
Smethwick lead the way in the ladies league on 36 points from seven games, second placed Wolverhampton are seven points behind the leaders.
