The Small Heath League produced a top of the table clash between the Mitre and Victoria 301 Club this week. Leaders Mitre travelled to take on the 301 Club, but the journey was made worth while when they returned with a 5-4 win. Custard House recorded a similar 5-4 win in their home tie with Victoria Flights which has seen them climb the table and take over second place from Victoria 301 Club, who have dropped to fourth. Mitre now have a massive ten points lead over the rest of the field with time and fixtures fast running out for them to be caught.

At the other end of the table there was a rare win for the Victoria. A 6-3 home win over Wagon and Horses made it two wins in 22 outings unfortunately it was not enough to take them off the foot of the table as their 4 points is 12 less than Victoria Flights, who are the next team to them.

In the Shadow League Potcheen Still lead the way on 10 points four more than second placed Victoria Flights.
