A final reminder that this is your last opportunity to enter the area’s major individual league the Brook Meadow Individual League for the forthcoming season, entries are still being accepted for the new season but time is fast running out as the new season is scheduled to get underway on the 8th January. The league is offering a guaranteed £300 prize to the eventual champion with all monies going into the prize fund and paying down to the last place. There will also be cash prizes for the highest finish, least darts, most tons and most 180’s
All players will play each other twice, the format being 3×501 legs. Everyone, both old and new players are invited into the league.

The Pip Club League has been playing off the semi finals of their Open Cup. In group one the first semi saw division one leaders Glascote Club take on and beat bottom but one in the table Two Gates Club. Bottom team Three Horse Shoes lost out to division two leaders Wiggy 180.
In the group two play off’s high riding Globe Inn and Dolphin, who are respectively fourth and third squared up to each other with the Globe just getting the final verdict. Facing the Globe in the final will be Tamworth Sports Centre who accounted for Red Lion (Polesworth) in the last four.

Round two of the Coronation Shield Doubles Cup and the preliminary round of the Norman Day Cup were on the fixture card for the Four Oaks and District League. Biggest win in the Coronation Shield went to division one’s Boldmere Sports, who won their home tie with division two outfit Pint Pot 12-3. Division one leaders Midland Red chalked up a comfortable 10-5 win against Red Lion Flights as did Sportsmans Rest (Division 1) in a tie against second division Cross Keys. The other fixture of the round was again between the two divisions with Old Oscott WMC (Div 2) losing out by 9-6 to Old Oscott Arrows (Div 1).
Just one game was played in the preliminary round of the Norman Day Cup and that was between Red Lion Arrows and Oscott Social with the latter getting the 10-5 result.
