Trevor Frost, reigning champion of the Brook Meadow Individual League did not play any games last week, but this week he played three and with wins in all of them he has regained pole position in the table again. Frost looks determined to hang on to his title and this showed in the opening two fixtures this week in which he defeated newcomers to the league John Masefield and Dean McCauley, both by 4-0. He then went on to beat Dave Elliott 3-1 to give him a total of 27 points from five games. Ross Macken was another player to play catch up as he also played three fixtures. He kicked off with a 2-2 draw with Gordon Clinton, but got better as the evening went on beating John Masefield 3-1 and Adam Gallett 4-0 giving him also a total of 27 points. However, Ross has conceded seven legs to Trevor’s three and that is the difference between the top two players. Frost does have the added advantage of a match in hand on his nearest rivals.
