Congratulations to Tamworth Winning Post, who with a total of 122 points have won the Warwickshire Men’s Super League 2006-2007 title. Nearest rivals and runners up to Winning Post were Leamington who had 111 points, just two ahead of third in the table Birmingham Hall Green.
The highest finish of the season was 161 which was achieved by no fewer than three players, Rob Hawker, Nigel Heydon and Kevin Dowling. The least darts of eleven went to Tony Brown and Dave Harris, while Rob Hawker recorded the best average of the season 33.98.

Trevor Frost has drawn within eight points of Ian McFarlane, leader of the Brook Meadow Individual League following two 3-0 wins over John Burdett and Dave Elliott. Frost also has the added advantage of having played two games fewer than McFarlane, which could possibly net him a further ten points. Frost was in terrific form against Elliott hitting two maximums plus 140,135,125,121 and 100.
There was a rare win for Terry Blakemore, a 2-1 success against Bill Cadby, however, Blakemore remains rooted to the foot of the table on 32 points, four behind Scott Austin, who is second from bottom.

It just had to happen and after 22 games it has. Smethwick Labour Club, leaders of division one of the Harborne and District Winter League lost their unbeaten record when they played hosts to their nearest rivals Midland Red. The Red’s ran out 5-4 winners which leaves them only two points adrift of Smethwick with a couple of fixtures remaining.
The division two title has been wrapped up by Thurlestone. Handing out a convincing 9-0 to New Inns confirmed them as champions. Stonehouse are runners up following their 6-3 win at Avenue Social. There was a 180 for I.Horton (Pheasant) but his side went down 5-4 at home to Quinton Members Club Flights.

The Sheldon and District Winter League will be staging their Vice Presidents Trophy Knockout at Lea Hall Sports and Social tomorrow evening. Contesting the title will be Bob Nixon (Olton RBL), Mark Birch (Brook Meadow), Paul Moran (Banbury Club) and Bob Mason (Yardley Ex Colts).

The Pip Club League will be playing off their division one singles tomorrow night at the Belgrave Club. Players have to register personally by 8-15pm. The winner will receive £60, with the runner up collecting £40.

The committee for the newly formed Small Heath Darts League Charity team are, Derek Rivitt, John Hudson, Julian May and Sue John. The team will be accepting challenges a little later in the year. More information on how to arrange a fixture will be printed as soon as it is forthcoming.
The committee are also interested in any would be sponsors from local businesses, details on who to speak to will be printed later.
