Staffordshire Knot consolidated their number one position in the West Midlands Men’s Super League this week by handing out a 5-0 whitewash to their visitors Gilbert’s Bar ‘A’. The win takes the leaders points tally to ninety-one and increases their advanatge over second placed Kings Head to seven points after they had a narrow 3-2 home win over Junction ‘A’. Third placed Dog and Partridge also won 5-0 in their home game with Landywood, however they are now eighteen points off the top of the table and eleven points short of King Head.
