The West Midlands Ladies Super League have got their new season underway and the good news is that they have swelled their numbers from eighteen to twenty-two players. The early pacesetter is Hannah Davies who is only one of two players to have played two games on the first night of the new campaign, the other one being Claire Hobbs. Hannah kicked off the new season with a 3-2 win over Sarah Barrett and although she lost her second game to newcomer Jade Wellings, her six points were enough to put her in pole position. Hot on the heels of Hannah Davies are nine players who all won their opening fixture and are on four points and they are Kelly Aston, Gemma Barrett, Lauren Herrington, Kath Jenkins, Jacqueline Maiden, Eloise Milburn, Jacqui Simmons, Evonne Taylor and Jade Wellings.
