As the Black Country Men’s Super League reached the midway point of its season Allen’s Bar ‘A’ topped the table with fifty-two points, their most recent fixture seeing them win 4-1 against their ‘C’ side to keep them six points to the good on their nearest rivals Quarry Bank Liberal Club who handed their visitors Soccer Zone ‘B’ a 5-0 whitewash. Third in the league Dudley Ex Serviceman’s Club stretched their undefeated run to twelve games with a 3-1 home success over Ten Arches to leave them with a game in hand on the two teams above them but ten points off the top and four fewer than the second placed Liberal Club.
