Allens Bar ‘C’ continued their fine start to the new Black Country Men’s Super League with a 3-2 home win over High Acres ‘B’, making it five wins in as many games to keep them in pole position with 30 points from their five games while their opponents dropped from fourth to sixth in the table.
Yeltz Bar ‘A’ lost their number two spot and dropped to third after they lost by a convincing 4-1 scoreline to Railway Tavern who replace their hosts in second place in the table four points short of leaders Allens ‘C’.
The Three Diamonds team have moved home venues and will now play out of the Rowley Bar and Grill, however the change of venue has not changed their luck as for the fifth time of asking they lost and in their first game at the Rowley Bar went down 4-1 to Allens Bar ‘A’, the win taking the away side up two places in the table to fourth with a total of 24 points, just two behind second in the league Railway Tavern.
At the other end of the table Allens Bar ‘B’, who are two places off the foot of the table, played hosts to Yeltz Bar ‘B’, both teams without a win from their opening four games. The result was a 3-2 win for Yeltz Bar ‘B’ to put them on 12 points, four to the good on their hosts.

The Shirley and District Monday Night League have got their new season underway and the early pacesetters in division one is the Wharf who won their home tie with Saracens Misfits 7-2, giving them a two legs advantage over their nearest rivals Dunky’s Boys who had a close 5-4 verdict at home to the Bears. Lodge and Tippets Bar also chalked up 5-4 wins in their respective fixtures with Cider House and Saracens Swords to share the second place in the table.
In division two Highwood began in style by handing out a 9-0 whitewash to their visitors Shirley Spartac. HSCC, Legion Royals and Saxon in turn won 5-4 against Wythall Legion, Slingers and Sharmans Cross to put them joint second in the table, four legs of average behind Highwood.

Sheldon Marlborough, with a huge 6-1 result over Moseley Arms made it six consecutive wins in the Camp Hill and District League to keep them top of the pile with a perfect 12 points. Aston Inn Nomads had a similar 6-1 victory away to Sedgemere Devils to see them overtake Meadway Social and move into second place in the table with four wins from the four games they have played, they are the only team besides Sheldon Marlborugh not to have lost a game so far.
Meadway lost the number two position and fell two places to fourth due to a somewhat surprising 4-3 defeat away to Tyseley WMC who prior to the game were seventh in the table, four points behind Meadway with just one win from their four games.
New Inn Lions moved up three places to third following their 4-3 win over Roost Rebels to put them on the same eight points as Aston Inn Nomads but they have played two games more than their rivals.

There was a shock result from the Netherton Thursday Night League in game number three as leaders Dudley Ex Serviceman’s Club suffered a 6-3 defeat away to Bulls Head who prior to the encounter were four places and three points behind the leaders.
Following their first defeat Ex Serviceman’s are now on six points and so are Fairfield, Old Hill Cricket Club, Townsend Social Club and Bulls Head with the Ex Serviceman’s holding on to pole position with a slightly superior average.
Fairfield had a 6-3 win at Spring Meadow, while Old Hill Cricket Club now have to share second place with Fairfield after a 5-4 home defeat to Townsend Social Club who with just one leg fewer than their hosts are placed fourth with Bulls Head fifth, one further leg adrift.
League officials have made a statement saying that if any team is struggling for numbers to contact them as there a couple of players who are looking to join a team.

Week two in the Sedgley and Gornal Tuesday Night League and Gornal Labour remain in the number one spot after a 7-2 win away to Red Cow, however they are top of the table on average only as there are three other teams Old Bulls Head, New Inn and Seven Stars all on the same four points. Old Bulls Head’s 6-3 win against Lamp Tavern took them from fourth to second while a 5-4 home win over Jolly Crispin saw New Inn hold on to their third place, Jolly Crispin dropping from second to fifth.
Seven Stars close 5-4 win at home against Meadow Lark saw them move up one place to fourth in the league.

Despite not playing in week 22 Steve Jones held on to the top place in the Gilbert’s Bar Monday Night League with 154 points from 19 games. In fact the top three positions didn’t change as second in the table Alex Howells finished all square at 4-4 in his tie with Ben Johnson to leave him one point behind leader Jones but he has played 21 games, two more than Jones. A former leader and now placed third Martin Price is on the same 153 points as Howells and has played 20 games the latest of which saw him beat Tom Hollowood 6-2.
Taking over in fourth place from Ben Johnson is Simon Mountford who had a huge 7-1 win against Kris Jones to give him 147 points from 19 games.
Down in the basement of the league Jamie Aplin doubled his number of wins taking him to four wins and one draw from his 18 games when he beat Paul Vaughan 5-3 and then went one better with a 6-2 success over Joe Bartolo.

After a long wait the Henley and District League completed their season with their finals and presentation night. Sadly it was announced that this was the end of the league as there was not enough interested teams to form another season

The Wolverhampton Tuesday Night Darts League 2021-22 AGM will be held on Tuesday 5th October at the Emerald Club, Cross St North, Wolverhampton.
Teams old and new are cordially invited to attend the meeting with a view to forming a new season for a league that has incredibly been going for more than 60 Years.
There will be an 8.00pm start and all teams must bring a list of all their player names plus £50 towards league fees.
