This coming weekend Warwickshire County Darts Organisation will be playing their sixth fixture in the Premier Division of the UKDA National League, a home tie against Glamorgan at the Hen Lane Social Club, Beacon Road, Coventry, CV6 4DS. Going into the fixture Warwickshire are lying seventh in the table with ninety-four points and their visitors fifth on 116 points, however Glamorgan have played one game more than Warwickshire.

In the Andy Wheeler Fisheries Championship Division of the UKDA National League, West Midlands will have a tough but vital home game against Middlesex as they are currently second in the division on 122 points and Middlesex are third with 116 points, a win for either side would keep them well on track for promotion.

After having a bye in the last round of fixtures in the L-Style Division One of the UKDA National League, Black Country will be back in action this coming weekend and travelling to Wales to take on current divisional leaders Clwyd. Black Country have slipped down the league table recently and are placed seventh on ninety-five points whereas their table topping hosts have played one game more than the Black Country and have a total of 137 points.

Game twelve in the Harborne and District League brought about no change in the top six places with leaders Copper Fox ‘R’ making it twelve straight wins with a 7-2 home win over Crown to keep intact their two points advantage over second placed Northfield Conservative Club who also had a home fixture and also won 7-2 against Thimble Mill. Third and fourth placed Northfield Darts Club and Smethwick Cricket Club are both on twenty points, four off the top after in turn they won 6-3 at home over Copper Fox ‘M’ and 8-1 at Weoley Castle.

It was certainly a week of high scores in the league with no fewer than fourteen maximums being recorded. Northfield Darts Club player M.Lloyd hit no fewer than three, while C.Fowler (Copper Fox ‘M’) hit two as did D.Hill (Northfield Conservative Club). There was one each for K.Bedder (Copper Fox ‘M’), R.Foxhall (Kings Norton Ex Serviceman’s Club), D.Knight and S.Hale (Weoley Castle WMC), A.Sutton (Northfield Conservative Club), D.Harper (Windsor Complex) and A.Hykin (Copper Fox ‘R’).

A 7-0 win at Cock Inn took Northfields undefeated run in the Kings Norton League to thirteen games and gives them a four points breathing space on second placed Greenlands for whom there was no result this week, their twelve results one fewer than Northfield. Third in the league Bourneville lost ground in the title race as they suffered a 4-3 home defeat at the hands of the Stirchley team, leaving them eight points adrift of the leaders. At the other end of the table, Cavalier are still seeking their first win after twelve games.

Finding the three treble twenties this week were P.Garvey (Bourneville), Joe Fox (Cock Inn) and J.Evitts (Northfield) and two players recorded 160 breaks N.Reynolds (E57) and T.Jeffs Bournebrook).

Game thirteen results saw no change in the Premier League table in the Sheldon and District Winter League with Highwood still riding high in pole position after adding on their 6-3 home win over second placed Langley Arrows to stretch their lead to four points. Third placed Sheldon Marlborough Arrows missed the opportunity to go second when they lost 6-3 at home to fourth in the division RAFA and are now on the same sixteen points as Langley Arrows but trailing on average. It was certainly lucky week thirteen for bottom of the division Smithswood Social Club as they chalked up their first win in ten games, a 5-4 success away against next to bottom Brian’s Flights to put them level on points and average with tier opponents.

Banbury Arrows lost their top spot in division one after they somewhat surprisingly lost 5-4 at home against fifth in the division Raven. Banbury drop to second place, two points short of new leaders RAFA Arrows who won their home game against Lyndon Old Boys 5-4. Trident Spears are third, on the same eighteen points as Banbury but behind on average after they lost their home tie with Yardley Ex Colts 5-4.

Like the Premier league there was no change in the division two table, leaders Langley Pints handing out a 9-0 whitewash to their visitors, bottom of the table Trident Flights to keep them four points to the good on both second third placed CBMC-A and Maggies, CBMC-A going down 5-4 at Maggies.

There were four 180’s this week and they were supplied by Adam Cooksey Banbury Club), Preston Cupkovic (Trident Spears), Harry Penson (Castle Bromwich Spitfires) and Stephen McKenzie (Maggies).

Ryan Cain holds on to the number one spot in the Heartlands Sugardarts M&E Co Double Top League, taking his oints tally to twenty-three after adding on his latest 3-0 win over brian Meer and 2-1 success against John Burdett. Clive Austin remains second, just one point short of Cain after he beat Steve McCormack 3-0 and Ramone Stevens 2-1. A further one point adrift but with a game in hand on the two players above him is third placed Steve Cain who beat Adam Rogers 3-0 and Jack Cox 2-1. After an encouraging start to the season with five wins in her first six games, young Sophie Cain has slipped down the table to ninth after two defeats this week, 2-1 to both Alex Downes and Andrew Richmond, Alex Downes notching the only maximum of the week in his 3-0 win over Matt Ryan.

It’s as-you-were for the top five teams in division one of the Sutton and District League, leaders Highcroft Hotdogs winning 5-4 away to third in the division Bishop Vesey to maintain a four points lead on their nearest rivals Nomads @ Hollyfields who with a 160 break from K.Smith won 6-3 at home against Walmley CSC Flights. Fourth and fifth placed Old Horns Lions and Erdington Arrows are both on sixteen points, eight off the top of the table.

Rise Club had a 7-2 home win over Beggars Bush to keep them to of the division two table with twenty-four points and a lead of five over second placed Plough and Arrows who also won their home game with Oscott Social Club 7-2. After the top two there are four teams all on eighteen points, Pint Pot Flights, Great Barr Social, Hollyfields and Deer’s Leap.

Northfield Darts Club had a 5-3 home win over Stirchley United to keep them top of division one in the South West Birmingham Clubs League and push their opponents down one place to third with seven points, three fewer than their host’s but with a game in hand. Northfield Conservative Club ‘B’ are second, they were held to a 4-4 draw at home by Kings Norton Ex Serviceman’s Club to leave them two points short of the leaders.

In division two West Heath CEM had their fixture with Longbridge Supremes postponed and as a result dropped from pole position to fourth on eight points. Taking over at the top of the table is E57 after a 4-4 draw at second placed Bartley Green FC, E57 have ten points and Bartley Green FC nine.

An 8-1 win at Wheatsheaf keeps Old Liberal Club top of the Sedgley and Gornal Tuesday Night League with a four points lead on second placed Red Cow ‘1’ who won 5-4 at Bulls Head. Gornal British Legion are third, a further two points adrift after they handed their visitors Jolly Crispin a 9-0 whitewash. Making up the top four is Netherton Sports and Social Club whose 5-4 defeat at Cabin ‘1’ leaves them eight points behind the leaders.

With the Silver End Sunday Morning League title already under their belts, Old Star continue in winning ways, handing out a 7-1 defeat to second placed Dudley Sports ‘A’ who are nine points short of the top side and nine points ahead of third placed High Acres ‘A’ after they won 5-3 at Portway.

After the top three teams in the Brierley Hill Monday Night League have completed twenty-one fixtures, only two points separate them. An 8-1 win at Kingswinford British Legion keeps Dudley Ex Serviceman’s Club ‘A’ top of the table with thirty-eight points, Lamp Tavern and Raven are second and third and in turn they won 6-3 at Railway Inn and Starving Rascal. The top three teams have to keep a close eye on fourth placed Bridge, their similar 6-3 win at Roebuck ‘B’ putting them on thirty-four points and although four off the top they have two games in hand on all three teams above them.

A 5-2 home win over Plough ‘A’ sees Chop House hold on to their six points lead at the top of the Stourbridge and District Wednesday Night League. Second placed Hollybush had the same 5-2 win at Ashwood to keep them joint second with New Inns who once again were 5-2 winners at Plough ‘B’ to put them level on points and average with Hollybush.

It’s week two in the Stourbridge and District Monday Night League and week one leaders Cross now have to share the top spot with Bird in Hand after they won 6-1 at home against Queens Head (Wordsley) and Bird in Hand won 7-0 at home against Bull and Bladder putting the two teams level on points and average. With ten teams winning their opening games, there are now only seven with an undefeated record and the other five are Netherton Conservative Club ‘A’, Old Liberal Club, Five Ways, Gornal British Legion and Raven.

The Netherton Thursday Night 501 League have been involved in round two of their Andy Bastable Trophy and winning through to the last four were Bulls Head who won 7-2 against Haden Cross, British Oak for their 6-3 win at Plough and Harrow and Furnace who had a 7-2 success against Townsend Social Club. Rose and Crown had a bye.

There were 180’s for Reece Hodgetts and Martin Abbott (Plough and Harrow), Chris Moreton (British Oak) plus Will Cairns and Dougie Richmond (Townsend Social Club).

There was one rearranged league fixture played in which Dudley Ex Serviceman’s Club ‘A’ won 8-1 at home against Netherton Sports and Social Club to lift them to the top of the table with eighteen points, three more than Old Liberal Club, Bulls Head and British Oak, Old Liberal Club and British Oak have a game in hand on the leaders.

The Rowley Monday Night League have got their new season underway with an impressive twenty-three teams, five more than last season, the league have split the season into two divisions and top of division one with a convincing 8-1 win is Bell who won at Tividale Sports. With the same 8-1 result, Bostin Darts ‘B’ top the division two table, they won away at the Vine.

Beginning the new campaign with a maximum were S.Plant (Romsley Cricket Club) and M.Preedy (Vine).

Once again it’s no change in the Black Country Ladies Super League as leaders Allen’s Bar ‘A’ won 3-2 against bottom of the table Allen’s Bar ‘D’ and second placed Allen’s Bar ‘B’ had the same 3-2 result against third placed Allen’s Bar ‘C’.

Allen’s Bar ‘A’ had an important 3-2 win in the Black Country Men’s Super League when they won their home game against second placed Dudley Ex Serviceman’s Club, to open up a thirteen points gap between the two teams, although the Ex Serviceman’s Club do have two games in hand on the leaders.

A straight 3-0 win over Jackie Trott has seen Jacqueline Maiden open up a four points lead at the top of the West Midlands Ladies Super League as her nearest rival, Evonne Taylor, after winning 3-0 against Claire Hobbs, then lost by the same 3-0 margin to Hannah Davies.

As a result of their 3-2 defeat away to Gilbert’s Bar ‘B’, Carrington Club have lost pole position in the West Midlands Men’s Super League and dropped to third place with fourteen points, four short of new leaders Kings Head, who won 5-0 at home against Dog and Partridge. Staffordshire Knot are second on fifteen points, three behind the leaders after they won 4-1 at home over Chase Social.

Nick Fullwell holds on to the number one spot in the Amblecote RBL Premier League, taking his points tally to seventy after winning 7-0 against Brandon Mallen and 5-2 against Shane Sheridan. Cayden Smith is second, three points behind Fullwell after adding his 6-1 win over Joe Poole and 4-3 win against Craig Slater. Reigning champion Jason Lowe is third on sixty-five points but having played one game fewer than the two players above him.

Despite being held to a 4-4 draw by Allan Davies in the latest round of fixtures in division one of the Gilbert’s Bar Monday Night Singles League, Simon Prtichard holds on to pole position with fifty-two points, nine more than second placed Chris Manoila who won 6-2 against Richard Brown. A further one point adrift, but with a game in hand is Simon Mountford, who beat Wayne Speed 7-1 and Dave Rich 6-2.

Former division two leader Michele Pritchard, lost 6-2 to Kobi Holyhead and as a result drops to fifth place on thirty-four points, four short of new leader Neville Quinton whose 6-2 win over Liam Davis gives him a total of thirty-eight points with a game in hand on his two nearest rivals Wayne Barratt and Kobi Holyhead who in turn are on thirty-seven and thirty-four points.

The Wolverhampton Tuesday Night League staged the first leg of the quarter-finals of their Knockout Cup with top scorers Gilbert’s Bar ‘B’ carrying a 6-1 lead into the second leg against Wednesfield Legion. The other three games all finishing with a 5-2 result, Junction ‘B’ beating Golden Lion ‘A’, Junction ‘A’ winning against Dog and Partridge and Gilbert’s Bar ‘A’ beating New Gate Inn.
