Northfield remain the only team in the Kings Norton League with a 100% win record after winning their latest fixture away to Dingle 6-1. The leaders, now with sixteen points have a two games buffer, plus a game in hand over second and third placed Copper Fox and Bournebrook after Copper Fox lost their home tie with fifth in the league Bourneville 5-2 and Bournebrook won their home tie with Longbridge by the same 5-2 margin. Fourth and fifth in the table Stirchley and Bourneville are both on twelve points, Stirchley winning 4-3 at E57, Bourneville having a game in hand on Stirchley.
There were no fewer than five maximums scored in the league this week and they were supplied by A.Bailes (Bourneville), G.Edwards (Dingle), M.Lloyd, J.O’Neill (Northfield) and Kyle Astbury (Perfection).

The top two teams in the Harborne and District League kept their undefeated run going in game nine when leaders Northfield Conservative Club, with a maximum from their M.Lloyd, won 7-2 at home against fifth in the table Copper Fox ‘M’ who are now six points behind their opponents but from one game fewer played. C.Fowler and K.Jukes both chalked up a 180 for Copper Fox ‘M’. Second in the league is Copper Fox ‘R’, they had a tough home game with fourth placed Smethwick Cricket Club but came out on the right side of the close 5-4 result to keep them within two points of the leaders with a game in hand. Northfield Darts Club had a bye this week they are third on sixteen points with a game in hand on the leaders. A.Bailey (Bourneville) hit a maximum in his team’s 6-3 home win over Weoley Castle while bottom team Windsor Complex also had a maximum score thanks to their P.Singh.

A 5-4 win at Brain’s Flights saw RAFA move up two places to fourth on ten points in the Premier League of the Sheldon and District Winter League but they still trail leaders Sheldon Marlborough Arrows by some eight points after they won 6-3 at Banbury Club. Second in the division Langley Arrows had a maximum from Tom Garfield in their 7-2 win at Highwood to leave them six points off the top but two to the good on third and fourth placed Raven Arrows and RAFA. Raven Arrows had bye this week, they and Langley Arrows have a game in hand on Sheldon Marlborough Arrows.
In division one the result for Old Salts Darts versus leaders Smithswood Social Club was a late result, however Smithswood hold on to the top spot with sixteen points from nine games with second placed Langley Flights losing ground in the title race as they went down 5-4 at home to fifth placed Trident Spears and now trail the leaders by two points as do third placed Yardley Ex Colts who also lost 6-3 at home playing against Kingshurst Labour Club. Old Salts Darts are fourth with ten points from nine games. There were two maximums in the game between Sheldon Marlborough Ridge and Hollywood Social Club, Phil Henderson for the former and Brian Hughes for the latter, the 6-3 result going to Sheldon Marlborough Ridge.
Only two points separate the top four teams in division two, Sheldon Marlborough Flights topping the table with twelve points from their eight games after losing their latest 5-4 at home against Maggies. Moseley Rugby Club moved up two places to second on ten points from nine games after they beat Shirley Misfits 6-3. Third and fourth in the division Lyndon Old Boys and Digby both have ten points from eight games, Lyndon with a 180 from Craig Stansfield winning 7-2 at home against Castle Bromwich WMC while Digby lost 6-3 away to Langley Pints.

With their fixture away to Plough and Arrows to be rearranged, Nomads @ Hollyfields have lost second place in division one of the Four Oaks and District League and drop to third on sixteen points from eleven games. Replacing Nomads in second place are Walmley CSC Flights who had a 6-3 home win over Rise Club to put them on eighteen points from twelve games, two short of leaders Highcroft Hotdogs who had a 6-3 win at Red Lion.
In division two the results from the latest fixtures had no effect on the league table with Drakes Drum continuing to lead the field with twenty points from eleven games, the latest of which saw them win 6-3 at St Thomas Arrows keeping them two points ahead of second placed Erdington Arrows who won 7-2 at Sutton Sharks. Third in the division Rosey Mac’s played their twelfth fixture, a home tie with Beggars Bush which they won 6-3 to give them sixteen points. Andy Kimberley (Old Horns Lions) scored the only maximum of the week in his team’s 5-4 win at Bishop Vesey.

Week six in the South West Birmingham Clubs League and with maximums from both L.Fowler and D.Longbottom, plus a 6-2 home win over Bournbrook, Northfield Darts Club have replaced Northfield Conservative Club ‘B’ at the top of the division one table with nine points, Northfield Conservative Club ‘B’ lost pole position as a result of their 6-2 defeat away to fourth placed Stirchley United, who with seven points trail the new leaders by two points. Longbridge United are third on the same seven points as Stirchley after they won 7-1 at West Heath CEM.
In division two Quarry Club were held to a 4-4 draw away to third in the division Kings Norton Ex Serviceman’s Club, Quarry are on eleven points from six games while second placed Perfection have only played five games as in the most recent fixtures they had a bye, they are five points behind Quarry Club with a game in hand as are Kings Norton Ex Serviceman’s Club.

Glasscutters ‘A’ hold on to pole position after adding their latest 6-1 home win over Crestwood, they are three legs of average to the good on second placed Ten Arches who had a similar 6-1 win at Ashwood. Third in the league Raven ‘A’ are a further one leg short of Ten Arches after their latest close 4-3 home win over Mount Pleasant which was enough to keep them one leg ahead of fourth in the table Old Liberal Club after their 6-1 home success over Bird in Hand.

The Silver End Sunday Morning League have completed their domestic fixtures and winning the league title with a total of ninety-two points from their thirty-six games was Dudley Sports ‘A’ who finished the season four points to the good on runners-up Dudley Ex Serviceman’s Club who had eighty-eight points, two more than third placed Old Star.
Taking the wooden spoon was Raven whose sixteen points were just one short of next to bottom of the table Old Cat Inn.

Dudley Ex Serviceman’s Club ‘A’ consolidated their pole position in the Netherton Thursday Night 501 League with an 8-1 win at Old Glasshouse to keep them two points ahead of their nearest rivals Old Liberal Club who were 6-3 winners at Plough and Harrow. Third and fourth in the table British Oak and Bulls Head in turn won 8-1 and 9-0 against Rose and Crown and Netherton Sports and Social Club to put both teams on twenty-four points, six off the top (two wins).

Gate Hangs Well top the table with a two legs of average lead after their latest 7-2 win at the Vine. Second and third placed Bell and Tividale Sports are level on average, Bell with a maximum from B.Gillies winning 5-4 at home against Tividale FC and Tividale Sports winning 6-3 at home against Hawthorns ‘B’. It was top versus bottom in the Brierley Hill Monday Night League when leaders Dudley Ex Serviceman’s Club ‘A’ travelled to take on bottom placed Tommy Turners ‘A’, the outcome, a convincing 8-1 win for the Ex Serviceman’s Club to give them fifty-six points from thirty games and an eight points lead on both second and third Maverick and Old Bush. It was week four of the John Walters Trophy in the Sedgley and Gornal Tuesday Night League and in league ‘A’ New Inn 2 stay top of the table with a 5-4 home win over Gornal British Legion, Mount Pleasant’s 6-3 win over Parkes Hall taking them up into second place, two points short of the leaders.
In league ‘B’ Meadow Lark had a 5-4 home success against second placed Cabin to remain top of the division with Cabin holding on to second place despite their defeat, they are four points short of their opponents.

Tom Bissell, reigning champion in the Amblecote RBL Premier League, is where he finished his last season, top of the table. In the latest round of fixture Bissell beat Mark Hopkins 7-0 and John Green 6-1 to put him on forty-nine points from seven games and gives him a lead of six points on second placed Paul Wells who has only played six games and beat Bayley Owen 7-0. Third in the league Jason Lowe has also only played six games the latest of which saw him win 5-2 against Ian Kelly and Matt Davies to put him on forty points.

In the West Midlands Ladies Super League, leader Evonne Taylor had two very important 3-0 wins as first she beat second placed Gemma Barrett 3-0 and then by the same margin won against reigning champion Jacqueline Maiden to make it seven wins in as many games and takes her points tally to twenty-eight, she has a lead of four over Kat McLean whose 3-1 wins over Hannah Davies and Claire Hobbs has taken her into second place with twenty-four points. Gemma Barrett drops to third place with twenty-two points and Jacqueline Maiden is fourth on twenty points.

Kings Head have lost the number one spot in the West Midlands Men’s Super League after losing 3-2 at Staffordshire Knot, the home side taking over at the top of the table with eight points, one more than their opponents who drop to third place. Dog and Partridge are second on the same seven points as Kings Head after they won their home game against Chase Social 4-1.

Although Simon Mountford lost 5-3 to Scott Baker in division one of the Gilbert’s Bar Monday Night Singles League, he remains top of the division with 29 points, however he has now been joined by Steve Lynch on the same number of points after he beat Andy Matthews 8-0. Third in the division Ben Johnson is just one point short of the top two after he won 6-2 against Jon Blakemore.
Reece Cook Lucas is four points ahead of the rest of the field in division two, his latest fixture seeing him win 8-0 against Claire Hobbs. Second in the division Richard Brown has 34 points, on the night he beat Kevin Bate 7-1.
Olly Garratt moves up four places in division three to take over in pole position following his 5-2 win over Dave Akers and 7-1 success against Matt Ford to give him 35 points, former leader Jade Wellings drops to second place, two points fewer than Garratt despite a 6-2 win over Charlie Baker.

It’s as-you-were at the top of the two divisions in the Wolverhampton Tuesday Night League with Junction ‘B’ continuing to head both tables and Hotshots remaining in second place. In the singles league Junction ‘B’ had a 7-0 win over Three Crowns to stay four points ahead of Hotshots who beat Corpus Christi ‘B’ 6-1.
Junction ‘B’ have a two points lead at the top of the doubles league over Hotshots after they both won 3-0 in turn against Three Crowns and Corpus Christi ‘B’.
