With Gemma Barrett not playing in the latest of the West Midlands Ladies Super League games her nearest rival Jacqueline Maiden took full advantage of the opportunity to reduce the arrears by winning 3-1 against Claire Hobbs to put her on 61 points, three fewer than Barrett but with two games in hand.
