Week three results in the Sheldon and District Summer League produced no change in the group one league table with Raven Arrows continuing to lead the field with a slender one leg of average lead over Langley Arrows after they won 8-0 at home against RAFA with Jason Prince chalking up a maximum for the winners, while second placed Langley Arrows, with a ten darts winning leg from Richard Nixon, won their home game against Brian’s Flights 7-1. The top two teams are the only teams to remain undefeated in the group, third placed Highwood keeping within two points of the leading duo with a 7-1 home win over Mackadown Sports and Social Club.
A 6-2 home defeat at the hands of the Trident Spears outfit has cost Yardley Ex Colts the leadership of group two with their victors taking over in pole position with a total of five points one more than Yardley Ex Colts who drop to third place behind Banbury Club. Micky Clayton had a 126 finish for Old Salts Darts.
A 100 checkout from Paul Byrne helped his team The Raven to a 6-2 win away against former leaders of group four, Moseley Rugby Club. The win sees Raven replace Moseley at the top of the table with a perfect four points from the two games they have played.
