Darts News – A West Midlands Round Up
Following their 22-14 home defeat against Lancashire in their previous fixture in the Cosmo Darts Premier Division of the UKDA National League Warwickshire will be hoping to quickly return to winning ways this coming weekend when they make the long trip south to Bitterne Park Social Club, 76 Manor Farm Road, Southampton, SO18 1NQ where they will take on the local county Hampshire.
Going into the fixture Warwickshire re locked together with their hosts on 168 points, the home placed fifth with just two more bonus points than their opponents, so a win would most definitely see Warwickshire move up one place in the table and possibly two to fourth should Lincolnshire, who are currently fourth lose their game against third in the division Essex.

West Midlands will wind down their season in the L-Style Division One of the UKDA National League with a home tie against Merseyside. With second in the division Suffolk some twelve points to the good on West Midlands promotion looks to be a bridge too far this season but a decent win would be a good confidence booster for the hosts who didn’t have the best of starts to their campaign but recovered well to now hold a more comfortable fourth place on 172 points, the same number as third placed Buckinghamshire with Merseyside fifth, twenty points behind their hosts.
———————————
With promotion now guaranteed for a second successive season the Black Country Darts Organisation will play their final game of the season in Division Two of the UKDA National League at home against Clwyd. With a total of 195 points Black Country have a huge lead of 27 over second placed Tyne and Wear and 32 over their fourth placed opponents, so at the end of their campaign Black Country will be, for the second time in as many seasons be promoted as champions.
