Derbyshire v Merseyside
Derbyshire had their opening fixture in Division Three of the BDO Inter County Championships, a home tie against Merseyside, cancelled and it has now been rearranged for the weekend of the 11th and 12th January and although currently lying in an unenviable position at the foot of the divisional table this is the opportunity to move away from the bottom as they are only a dozen points short of Middlesex who are three places above them. However it will not be an easy game as Merseyside are fourth in the table on 74 points some seventeen more than their hosts and a win for them could see them replace Cleveland who are in second place with 83 points.
