Surrey v Derbyshire
After being relegated from division one of the BDO Inter County Championships last season Derbyshire are not enjoying the best of starts in division two and after the opening two fixtures are currently languishing at the foot of the table already five points off safety.
Derbyshire’s last spell in division two saw them win the opening five fixtures and go on to win six, draw one and only lose two, hope’s are these opening two defeats will be the only two they lose this season, however they do have another testing game this coming weekend when they travel south to take on Surrey who are enjoying a good start to their campaign as they ride high in second place behind Northamptonshire with 49 points, 26 more than Derbyshire.
