Shropshire with five defeats and only four wins struggled to find their true form last season in division four of the BDO Inter County Championships and as a result finished just below the halfway point of the table in sixth place but they now have the opportunity to start all over again, however the opening fixture despite being played at home is a tough one against Montgomery and Radnor who played last season in division three only to be relegated with Breconshire at the end of the season.
