With more than three quarters of the season completed Kevin Harris holds a 27 points lead at the top of the Winmau Centre Thursday Night Champions League his latest fixtures seeing him have a close 4-3 win over Kristian Wharton followed by a more convincing 5-2 against Steven Homer. Second placed Kenny West does have three games in hand on Harris but his title hopes were given a blow when he lost 5-2 to fourth in the table Mick O’Neill, however he did recover from that and went on to beat Tam Singh 6-1. O’Neill followed his win over West with a similar 6-1 win against Andy Whale and although he is on 134 points, 36 fewer than Harris he has six games in hand on the leader, six games which carry a possible 42 points.
