Congratulations to Warwickshire’s nine times Lakeside World Champion Trina Gulliver MBE, who at the Lakeside Country Club in Frimley Green showed the dart world she is back to her top form by winning her third BDO Gold Cup title, a title she had previously won in 2000 and 2003.
With wins over Michelle Andrews, Tracy Bishop, Tina Neylon and Stacey Ellis, Trina then took on Norfolk’s Roz Bulmer in the semis and promptly despatched her with a straight 3-0 result. Her final opponent was 2001 Gold Cup champion Nikki Furse from Cornwall, who she defeated with a final double eighteen to seal her first win of 2014.
