In division two of the Riley’s BDO Inter County Championships West Midlands have a great opportunity to move up the table as they play away to Suffolk at the Kesgrave Social Club, Edmonton Road, Kesgrave. West Midlands will be looking to end a run of two defeats and a win would see them replace their hosts in third place in the table as they are only five points ahead of them and also keep them well on track for promotion back to division one.
The men’s ‘A’ side will be a little depleted for this fixture as three of their players, Matt Dicken, Nick Fullwell and Mark Jones will all be involved in PDC games. As a result of this only nine players have been named so far for the men’s ‘A’ and are, Ian Jones, Mick Baker, Mark Rollinson, Gavin Baker, Ian Stanton, Danny Coyle, Neil Pointon, Richard Platt, John Platt, Men’s ‘B’:- Avtar Singh, Jordan Singh, Karl Hughes, Shaun Carroll, Joe Taylor, Mark Craddock, Gary Watts, Paul Price, Peter Wyse, Martin Angell, Robert Thompson, John Mycock, Reserves:- Mark Watkiss, Simon Meredith, John Roberts, Women’s ‘A’:- Sarah Roberts, Lisa Astbury, Diane Tolley, Jackie Crew, Kath Jenkins, Heather Wright, Women’s ‘B’:- Kim Fellows, Gemma Barrett, Sam Maiden, Shellbie Simmons, Claire Hobbs, Jackie Maiden, Reserves:- Doreen Kaye.
