With only a couple of league fixtures to play the division one title in the Four Oaks and District League is still up for grabs. A 7-2 win at The Greyhound has given Sutton Sports 18 points from 11 games to put them level on points with divisional leaders The Nomads, who have a slender single leg of average to the good on reigning champions Sutton Sports. Red Lion Flights are third, they had a 7-2 win away to Old Oscott WMC to leave them four points off the leaders. Drakes Drum consolidated their fourth place with a 5-4 home win against Old Oscott Arrows.
In division two Brookvale Social’s 6-3 defeat of Anvil Nomads means that The Beehive, who won their home tie with The Fox 9-0, require just one more win to secure the divisional title, they have 18 points from 10 games. Boldmere Sports, who won 8-1 at home to Plough and Barrows are on 12 points from the same 10 games and Anvil Nomads and Brookvale who have both played one game fewer than the two teams above them are on the same 12 points as Boldmere. Boldmere’s C.Packer was in terrific form as he registered nine scores of a ton or more hitting 3×120 breaks, 140,135,137,128,110 and 100, he also recorded a nine darts leg.
White Lion won a crucial game in division three, a 5-4 win over their nearest rivals Bishop Vesey to pu them four points clear at the top of the table. An in form Pint Pot Flights side won 6-3 at Cross keys Arrows with M.Mills recording a maximum 170 game shot.
T.Tyrie (Anvil Nomads) and R.Kropivjanskis (Cross Keys Arrows) both hit a 180.

Just two results from division one of the South Birmingham League this week, which saw Mackadown Social beat Riley’s Kings 6-2 to put them on the same ten points as leaders The Crown and also their opponents, however Crown and Riley’s now have a game in hand on Mackadown.
The other result was a 9-0 walkover for Punch Bowl over Farthings.
In the second division St John’s held on to their four points lead over Iron Horse when they won their home game against Banbury Flights 6-3. Iron Horse who also had a home tie beat Smithswood Social 5-4.
It was good news for The Trident, who after seven consecutive defeats recorded their first win of the campaign, a 5-4 home success, amazingly against The Dog who drop from second to fourth in the table. Iron Horse, Coleshill Social, The Dog and Banbury Flights are all on 12 points.

Dudley Ex Serviceman’s Club suffered a shock defeat in the Netherton Thursday Night League going down 5-4 at Fairfield who are eighth in the table. Nevertheless Ex Serviceman’s remain in pole position on 33 points, three more than second placed Rose and Crown and Prince of Wales, who played each other this week, the former winning 7-2.

Saltley Amateur Gardeners made it 14 straight wins in the premier division of the Sheldon and District Winter League when they wn their home game with George V 6-3. Saltley now have a six points lead over second in the table Crown at Shard End, who won 7-2 at home to Sheldon Dukes.
Only two points separate the top two teams in division one, Raven, who beat Shard End Social 7-2 lead the field with EBAHA second following their close 5-4 win at Sheldon Social. Biggest winners in division two were Baldwin Bears, a somewhat surprisingly high 9-0 success away to Riley’s Wings, who were fourth in the table and now drop to sixth. Leaders Crown Arrows had a comfortable 7-2 win at Emerald Flights to remain two points ahead of Baldwin Bears with 24 points.

The Tamworth League have been engaged with their Charity Cup, the first round seeing three of the four games finish with a 4-1 scoreline. There were wins for Fox and Dogs, Sports Bar’180’ and Longwood against respective opponents Tam O’Shanter, Globe Inn and Old Liberal House. Sports Bar won 4-2 against Wigginton.
In round two Sports Bar ‘180’, Fox and Dogs and Dolphin ‘A’ in turn had 4-0 wins over Mile Oak Rovers, Three Tuns (Fazeley) and Sports Bar. Longwood beat Dolphin ‘B’ 4-1.

Just two teams remain unbeaten in the Camp Hill League, biggest winners of the week Westminster Lions lead the field following their 5-2 home win over Bordesley Labour Club, who fall one place to fourth. Cotterills Lane Club are the other team with a 100%win record, their latest success being a 4-3 win at Scruffy Ringers.
Gulp Tribe move up one place to third, thanks to a close 4-3 verdict at Station Hotel.

Chalking up their first win in ten fixtures in division one of the Forest of Arden Winter League was Crown Arrows, but despite their 5-4 home win over The Crane they remain rooted at the foot of the tale on just two points, still four adrift of the nearest team Greville Arrows, who lost by the same margin at home to The Grange. Divisional leaders Highwood ‘A’ also finished with a 5-4 result beating Riley’s Red Arrows to put them two points in front of second placed Olton Crown.
In division two there were 5-4 wins for second placed Highwood KB and third in the table Riley’s Wings, beating in turn Ivy Leaf Bulls and Greville Arms. Centurion had a convincing 7-2 win against Highwood Exiles.

Crown, the early leaders in the Rowley Monday Night League had an emphatic 9-0 win at Bulls Head to make it three straight wins so far in the league. Also with three wins are Springfield Social Club, Allens Sports Bar and Ivy Bush ‘Z’. Springfield and Allens won 7-2 against White Swan and Timber Tree, while Ivy Bush ‘Z’ had a much closer 5-4 win at The Bell.
First wins of the season were recorded for Fairfield and Leones against Britannia Inn and Haden Cross, while York Road Sports and Social tasted defeat for the first time at Ex Serviceman’s Club.

Something had to give this week in the Cradley Tuesday Night League as both Crown ‘A’ and Crown ‘B’ had won their opening two games and had to square up to each other. The outcome was a close 5-4 win for the ‘A’ team, which was enough to give them pole position after three games. Chainmakers ‘A’ are the only other team to have played three and won three, heir latest 6-3 victory at the expense of the Prince of Wales.
Brickmakers handed out a 9-0 whitewash to their visitors Yeltz Bar to make it two wins in as many games.
Hasbury Inn moved off the foot of the table with their first win, a 5-4 result away to Roost ‘A’ who drop from third to sixth. Members Club were another team to chalk up their first win, again 5-4 away to Hawne Lane Tavern.

After eight fixture Cubbington ‘B’ lead the Warwickshire Ladies Super league with 16 points, four more than their nearest rivals Bishopsgate.
On the individual scene Nuneaton’s Natalie Gilbert has the highest finish of 155, while Lisa Whitmore (Bishopsgate) has recorded the least darts, which is twelve.
