In division one West Midlands played hosts to Dorset, a game which they were really expected to get something out of, but unfortunately they lost 20-16. The only highlight of the weekend was the 8-4 win by the men’s ‘B’ side with Richard Platt their top player with a 29.91 average. Andy Forrester was in fine form for the ‘A’ side chalking up a 31.08 average in the team’s 7-5 defeat.
The ladies teams both lost, the ‘A’ 4-2 with Gemma Barrett’s super 26.37 average taking the lady of the match. Heather Wright was the only winner in the ‘B’ teams 5-1 reversal, her 16.41 average taking her awards for the season to five.
